We're a little more than halfway through our special APDT series of Behavior Talk episodes, where we feature exclusive interviews from the Association of Pet Dog Trainers conference in Portland Oregon. Today we're talking with Teoti Anderson.

Teoti is a former Board member and past president of APDT, and she's also the owner of Pawsitive Results L.L.C, in Lexington, South Carolina. Her books include, to name just a few, "Your Outta Control Puppy," "Super Simple Guide to Housetraining," and "Quick and Easy Crate Training."

On the last day of the APDT conference, Teoti joined me for a conversation about APDT, the challenges ahead for that organization, and for trainers in general; and her work with a special rescue dog named Rocky. But we began by talking about a session she led earlier that week called "Time Management for Crazy Busy Dog Trainers," where she offered some tips for managing a hectic schedule.
