Dr. Lore Haug graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. After completing an internship at Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in '93-'94, she practiced in general medicine and emergency/critical care from 1994-1999. In 1999, she returned to Texas A&M to complete a 3 year residency and Master's degree in animal behavior. She became board certified by the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists in 2002 and ran the Animal Behavior Service at Texas A&M University from 2002-2007.
Dr. Haug's interest in animal behavior began "officially" in 1980 when she began participating in competitive obedience and conformation with Doberman Pinschers and Dalmatians.
She is active in several professional training organizations. She also has a special interest in neuroscience, neurobiopsychology, puppy development, and humane restraint practices.
She currently shares her life with a Doberman Pinscher and a Polish Arabian gelding.
