In today's episode I had the good fortune to spend some time with Dr. Katherine Houpt. Dr. Houpt is a professor at Cornell University where she established the Animal Behavior Clinic at The College of Veterinary Medicine and was one of the charter diplomats of the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists.
In a wide ranging conversation, we touched on a number of topics, including cats with litterbox and other issues; cribbing in horses, and the genetics of aggression. We began our talk with a discussion of some recent research on pheromones.
