A lifelong focus on observing and evaluating behavior is the foundation of my professional identity. In formal education I was delighted to discover this passion could be grounded in the study of Psychology and Animal Behavior. As I became educated in the systematic, empirical foundation of science I found my best contributions in applying behavior science to the human and other animal relationships in the fields of education in pet training, service dog team development, interspecies communication, and consulting.

The authentic application of critical analysis and behavior science is the empirical foundation for effective, gentle teaching, guiding, and counseling. For me, competency in gentle teaching is a required ethical practice for any person influencing another-of any species.

ANIMAL SCHOOL BEHAVIOR SERVICES provides a client with resources:

Extensive repertoire and experience in effective education and behavior modification with pet owners and pet families.

Solution focused short-term therapeutic interventions with problem behaviors in individual consultations.

Owner training in individualized service dog work at all levels, from initial dog selection to a working team and follow up support in our OTIS program.
