Jean Donaldson is the founder of and instructs at The San Francisco SPCA Academy for Dog Trainers. She is the award-winning author of The Culture Clash, MINE! A Guide to Resource Guarding in Dogs and FIGHT! A Guide to Dog-Dog Aggression and Oh Behave! Dogs From Pavlov to Premack to Pinker.

A native of Montreal and graduate of McGill, Jean has lectured extensively in the US, Canada and abroad. Her dogs and dogs she has trained have numerous titles and wins in various dog sports. She is currently studying evolutionary biology.
